Confidentiality
Your personal information is safeguarded through the electronic sharing of only necessary information and by physically securing any paper files containing your information. Confidentiality is maintained by ensuring that your case is not discussed with anyone outside of those you bring to sessions or those you permit through a Release of Information. However, there are specific circumstances in which confidentiality cannot be upheld. If you make a serious threat to harm yourself or another individual, appropriate measures will be taken to ensure safety. Additionally, as a mandated reporter, I am obligated to report any instances of child abuse or neglect to the relevant authorities, as well as possible elder abuse or neglect.
Secure Use of Electronic Communication
You may use email or the online contact form for general questions, appointment inquiries, and payment purposes, only, to protect your personal information. Texting or phone calls are not currently used for communication.
Confidentiality of Records
All written and spoken information pertaining to wellness services is maintained in strict confidence. No information will be disclosed to any third party without your written authorization, except where legal exceptions to confidentiality apply.
